I’m Dr. James McArn. As a business consultant serving the Atlanta area, I help business owners build the kind of business they actually want to run. My focus is on helping owners create businesses that are clear, profitable, and positioned for sustainable growth by concentrating on the areas that matter most.

I work alongside owners in key areas such as marketing, finance, leadership, employee development, customer retention, and other core functions that directly impact long-term success.

In many small to mid-sized businesses, strategy is either missing or ineffective, yet it is one of the most important foundations for growth. Meet Dr. James McArn

Dr. James McArn is a Christian, husband, father, and small business owner with a deep commitment to helping people and organizations grow with purpose.

Dr. McArn specializes in business and marketing consulting, as well as leadership coaching. His approach is shaped by years of real-world experience in marketing, coaching, public speaking, and hands-on business leadership. Rather than relying on theory alone, he brings a practical, in-the-trenches perspective that sets his work apart from traditional consulting models.

Guided by the core values of integrity, innovation, growth, and wisdom, Dr. McArn has extensive experience planning and managing cross-functional business operations and marketing initiatives. He is both an analytical and conceptual thinker who partners closely with owners and senior leaders to evaluate opportunities, make strategic decisions, and implement solutions that drive measurable results.

Known by some as the “Business Whisperer,” Dr. McArn has a natural ability to assess complex situations, uncover root issues, and identify practical paths forward. His coaching style is direct, thoughtful, and people-centered, helping individuals and teams perform at their best. He is a Certified Master Facilitator through the Center for Executive Coaching™ and is particularly skilled in group facilitation, building alignment, and creating consensus among leaders with differing perspectives. He continues to collaborate with respected professionals across the leadership development field.

Dr. McArn has led and supported projects across a wide range of industries, including financial services, healthcare, education, and philanthropy. His work has included operational audits, marketing strategy development, compliance and process remediation, business restructuring, systems integration, technology upgrades, organizational planning, employee development, and customer retention initiatives.

In 2016, Dr. McArn founded McArn Consulting Agency. Prior to that, he served as Director of Local Marketing for an Atlanta-based consulting firm, where he worked closely with businesses to strengthen their market presence and performance.
